| Kira is pictured above winning the BCCM specialty just 10 weeks after having her first litter. It was a battle of wills whether she was to be shown that day. I wanted to show Kira but she had lost all of the hair behind her elbows & the coat was very thin because of the litter. Nellie wanted me to show Baxter since he was in full coat & usually only showed for me. I stuck it out with Kira, told Nellie that this was a breeder judge & she probably wouldn't care that Kira was bald. Wel...as you can see the judge didn't care. She told us that the quality was there & that the quantity would come. Baxter was shown by a good friend of mine that day & he had to settle with taking BOS to Kira. |
